The byline
Ari Klein researches award travel between North America and Israel, tracking transfer ratios, award charts, and monthly promo zones across the major programs. He flies the route, holds the cards, and books the seats he writes about - every guide on this site comes out of trips actually taken and searches actually run.
This site exists because of a familiar scene: someone at a kiddush mentions they just paid $2,400 a seat to get the family to Yerushalayim for Sukkos, and three people around the table quietly wince - because they flew the same week for 30,000 points.
What this site is
Fifteen guides (and counting) on one narrow topic: getting from North America to Tel Aviv on points and miles. Which cards earn the right currencies, which programs book which airlines, what the nonstop situation actually is this month, and how to beat the yom tov fare spikes. Written for the frum community, in the community’s language, with Ashkenazi spellings and no corporate voice.
How every page gets made
- Live pulls, not memory. Every fare on the site comes from a live fare search run the day the page was written - the date and the numbers are printed at the bottom of the page.
- Named sources. Route statuses, award charts, and partnership terms are verified against primary sources (airline announcements, program charts, DansDeals, One Mile at a Time) and the sources are named on the page.
- A dated promise. Each page shows its last-updated date up top. When the market moves - a route resumes, a chart devalues, a partnership dies - the page gets re-cut and the change goes on the public changelog.
- Review before publish. Pages go through an independent review pass for accuracy before they ship.
What we promise not to do
- No stale advice left standing. When something on a page stops being true, the page changes, not just the next post.
- No pay-to-rank. Our ranking criteria are published and fixed.
- No fake precision. When award space is unpredictable or a zone assignment can flip, we say that instead of pretending certainty.
The disclosure, in plain words
Some links on this site are referral links. If you apply for a card through one, we may receive points or a commission - it costs you nothing and keeps the site free. Cards with no link rank exactly where the criteria put them.
